Weaver Street Market announced this week that more than 53,000 shoppers at the Orange County cooperative had “rounded up” to fight hunger. The Round Up! Campaign is one of three hunger initiatives at Weaver Street during the holidays.
With a week to go in the month-long campaign, shoppers have donated a total of $28,674 by rounding up at the check-out line. The funds raised will be used to provide fresh winter produce to area food banks.
